We are seeking an Intern Data Company Advisor who will assist our team in reviewing and analyzing publications. As an Intern Data Company Advisor, you will be responsible for analyzing various publications and providing feedback to the team. You will also be responsible for conducting research and presenting findings to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze publications to identify relevant data and insights.
• Conduct research on various topics related to the company’s business.
• Provide feedback to the management team on the quality of publications and their relevance to the company’s business.
• Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of publications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and news related to the company’s business.
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials and content based on your analysis and research.
• Have deep knowledge of current Ethiopian politics and other sectors, including the economy, social issues, and culture.
• Have a proven track record of working closely with or following media outlets covering Ethiopia.
• Have a personal network of contacts that can help corroborate and provide additional information to prove collected data.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Deep knowledge of current Ethiopian politics and other sectors, including the economy, social issues, and culture.

• Proven track record of working closely with or following media outlets covering Ethiopia.

• Personal network of contacts that can help corroborate and provide additional information to prove collected data.

This is an unpaid internship position with a duration of 3-6 months. The Advisor will report to the management team and work closely with other members of the team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data analysis and research and to learn about the publishing industry.
